TSP’s Peggy Butler Receives Community Champion Award at the 2017 Dallas Admin Awards

(DALLAS) October 25, 2017TSP (Technology Service Professionals), a privately held IT services company, is proud to announce Peggy Butler, the company’s administrative assistant, was selected as the sole recipient of the Community Champion Award at the 2017 Dallas Admin Awards.

“I am so pleasantly surprised to have been selected for this award and am thankful to work with such wonderful people that they would think to nominate me in the first place,” said Peggy Butler, administrative assistant, TSP. “Being a part of my community brings me great joy and I am proud that my TSP family is as passionate as I am when it comes to giving back.”

Butler’s impact at TSP goes beyond her role as administrative assistant, many rely on her for her honest feedback and knowledge of the Richardson community. She regularly supports company events through participation in Readers 2 Leaders, March of Dimes March for Babies, Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure and Leighton’s Gift.

“For the past eight years, Peggy has been an irreplaceable piece of TSP and we are excited to see her be honored for her dedication to the community,” said Frank Gonzalez, co-founder and CEO of TSP. “We all see Peggy as our ‘office mom’ and are happy to have her as one of our own #TSProckstars.”

Prior to joining TSP in January 2009, Butler spent decades at Texas Instruments, served in the United States military and even helped found a company in Belgium. This experience has led to success for Butler and made her a priceless asset to the TSP family.

The final award winners were announced at The Dallas Admin Awards Luncheon on October 20. Recipients were selected by an independent panel of judges who reviewed all nominations, selecting finalists in all nine categories.

TSP Donates Labor and Materials in Initiation of New Service Partnership with Local Nonprofit

(DALLAS) October 4, 2017TSP (Technology Service Professionals), a privately held IT services company, announces a new service partnership with Grace Bridge, which includes a unified approach to hardware, software and IT infrastructure support for the local nonprofit headquartered in Frisco, Texas.

“As a nonprofit, our resources can be limited,“ said Carter Morris, president and CEO, Grace Bridge. “We are grateful to partner with companies such as TSP who not only can provide us excellent IT service and support, but also believe in our mission and the services we provide to the local community.”

TSP donated just under $10,000 in parts and one-time labor installation services to create a state-of-the-art IT infrastructure at Grace Bridge including:

  • Installation and configuration of firewalls
  • Installation and configuration of VoIP phones
  • Installation and configuration of the backup agent on supported devices
  • Installation and configuration of PC antivirus agent

Additionally, TSP will continue to monitor and support Grace Bridge with a managed service offering that includes:

  • Remote support for PC, network and phone issues
  • Monitoring of backups and remediation of issues as they arise
  • Onsite support for items not easily remediated via remote support

“The success of a new partnership is not always measured in dollars, but on potential impact,” said Rick Skaggs, co-founder and president of TSP. “We are thrilled to not only talk-the-talk, but also walk-the-walk as we live our vision of investing time and money into the communities where we live, work and play in such a demonstrable way.”

The service partnership will utilize remote support for a majority of the issues; however, an onsite technician can be dispatched through TSP’s proprietary and cloud-based ticketing system.

Grace Bridge opened its doors in 2011 with 40 volunteers donating their time and money to serve 110 local families.
