DALLAS, TX – TSP (Technology Service Professionals), a leading provider of information technology services to Fortune 500 companies, is sponsoring the annual Christmas party of Dallas-based nonprofit Readers 2 Leaders (R2L), continuing to live out TSP’s vision of investing time and money into its community.
The annual Christmas party is the festive edition of Readers 2 Leaders’ quarterly Saturday Storytime, where children can listen to stories, participate in holiday crafts and fun, take pictures with special guest Santa Claus. The event will take place at Booktown located at 2223 Singleton Blvd. Suite 140 in Dallas, on Saturday, December 12 starting at 10 am. TSP has donated $1,000 to the event and 12 TSP employees will volunteer their time to ensure the event runs smoothly.
TSP co-founder Frank Gonzalez was introduced to the organization and brought the idea to support the event to the TSP team. “I heard Readers 2 Leaders present at Executive Connection, a group I am a part of, and knew instantly that I wanted to support this local organization. West Dallas is one of the most economically disadvantaged communities in the entire country, and Readers 2 Leaders works hard to combat children’s illiteracy in our own backyard. Many of us at TSP have children, so the cause hits close to home, and we’re looking forward to supporting our community by helping out at the Readers 2 Leaders holiday event,” said Gonzalez.
Readers 2 Leaders promotes the development, growth and success of young children in West Dallas by cultivating their reading skills. Readers 2 Leaders holds a Saturday Storytime each quarter, where children from ages three to ten come to share stories and partake in arts and crafts.
